    Located within the land north of Hilston, is Admiral Storrs Tower (Hilston Mount), a Grade II Listed look-out tower dating back to 1750, built for John Storr. The tower is a brick construction with stone dressed turrets set over three storeys, arranged as an octagonal tower with projecting semi-circular stair turret to north side. The entrance door sits under a brick arch beneath the datestone and a coat of arms, bearing 3 birds. The building is an interesting additional to the land and could be restored to an interesting new use (subject to consents).
